Our surf teaching method: how we help beginners progress faster in Morocco
Small Groups — big progress.

We genuinely love working with complete beginners — this is where we see the most progress and the most excitement. It’s also where new surf lovers are born.
1. What do we do first?
We divide surfers by level from the very beginning.

If you’ve never surfed before, you’ll be learning alongside people who have exactly the same experience as you — in other words, no experience at all.

Throughout the week, you stay with the same surf coach, who tracks your progress and supports you step by step. At the same time, you’re learning alongside a group that started on the same day, sharing the same challenges, progress, and emotions together.
2. Learning Without Overload
We don’t overwhelm you — we guide you.

Our team strongly believes that your body doesn’t need constant instructions. It needs the right guidance. In many ways, it already understands balance and movement better than we think.

To avoid interrupting your natural learning process and your feeling of the water, we give you only the knowledge you need at each stage — just enough to keep you safe and help you move in the right direction.

Each lesson starts with a practical introduction, an analysis of your technique, and a clear focus on safety — so you feel confident before entering the water.
3. A Method Adapted to You
There isn’t one “correct” way to stand on a surfboard. Your technique depends on your body, your movement patterns, and your physical condition.

From the very beginning, our instructors observe how you move and choose the approach that works best for you — so your progress feels natural and sustainable.
4. Practice, Feedback, Progress
Once we choose the right method for you, we always start practicing on the shore. Your coach makes sure you understand the movement and feel comfortable before going into the water.

Then we move into the safest area — the white wash, where conditions are soft and controlled. In the water, instructors guide you step by step:
helping you catch waves, find the right timing, and stand up on the board.

After 10–15 minutes, we usually pause and come back to the shore. At this point, your movement patterns become clear, and it’s the perfect moment to give feedback, correct mistakes, and adjust your technique.

Then you go back into the water and try again.

This cycle — practice, feedback, adjustment — is what allows fast and consistent progress.
Real Results in One Week?
Throughout the week, we gradually build your skills with just the right amount of theory and practice.

By the end of the week, most of our guests:
  • stand up confidently
  • catch small waves on their own
  • understand how to move in the water

Some even progress beyond the white water and start surfing in deeper sections of the ocean.

Can’t wait to get you on your first wave!

Over the years, our team has taught many beginner surfers — and many of them return to Morocco to surf with us again.
