Why fully organised surf weeks are the best way to learn surfing
I struggled to connect with others, and my surf progress felt slow — until…
We all come to a surf camp for different reasons.

Some want to progress in surfing. Some are looking to meet like-minded people and make new friends. Others simply need a reset — to step away from work, clear their mind, and recharge. But sometimes, travel brings more stress than joy.

Expectations don’t match reality: You don’t find the right people. Your progress feels slow. And instead of relaxing, you feel like you have to figure everything out on your own.

Morocco has many great surf camps and guesthouses — local teams truly care about quality and do their best to create a good experience. But even in a beautiful place, you might not get what you came for — if the format doesn’t match your needs.
We built our surf weeks around three main goals:
  • Significant surf progress
  • meaningful social connections
  • and a full mental reset

Progress in surfing
Many of our guests tried surfing before — but without real results. Why? Because learning surfing requires both practice and structure.

Random lessons in different places rarely lead to consistent progress.
Our format is different: everyone arrives on the same day and starts from the same level. You train in small groups, with the same instructor, throughout the entire week.

This creates:
  • consistency
  • personal attention
  • and a clear learning path
Your instructor doesn’t change every day. And your group doesn’t change too! We focus on your progress from start to finish — until you feel confident in the water. (You can read more about how we teach beginners in this guide.)
Natural connection with people
Meeting new people sounds easy — but in reality, it’s not always. We’re often tired, overloaded, or simply not in the mood to constantly introduce ourselves to new people. In many travel situations, it’s natural that: people arrive at different times, some travel with friends, others follow their own schedule, connections start and sometimes end quickly. Because of this, it can be harder to build deeper friendships during a short trip.

That’s why we chose to run one group per week, with fixed arrival and departure dates. We love when you learn to surf together, share meals together, experience the week together. We also organize activities and evenings designed for the group — so connections happen naturally, without forcing them.

And this is where something interesting happens: People who would probably never meet in everyday life end up becoming friends. Many of our guests leave together, continue traveling together, and come back again.
Proper reset
Planning a trip to a new place can be exhausting. Where to go, what to do, how to organize your days — it can easily take away half of your vacation energy.

Our surf weeks are designed to save your nerve system.

It’s not just a surf camp — it’s a fully organised surf trip. We create a complete weekly program for one group:
  • surf sessions based on conditions
  • activities planned at the right time
  • balanced days with both movement and rest

You always know what’s happening and you don’t have to plan anything. At the same time:
  • the schedule is not overloaded
  • you have space to rest
  • you can take time for yourself whenever you need

We guide the experience — but you keep your freedom.
Final thoughts
A surf trip can be many things.

But when it’s structured the right way, it becomes something more:
  • you progress faster
  • you connect deeper
  • and you come back home recharged
